PSA: DONT BE LIKE ME AND BUY ALL OF YOUR BOOKS OUT THE BOOK STORE... JUST DONT.

Hey loves! So I decided to do a college series of helpful tips about college & my college life for the month of november! As some of you may know or not know, I attend North Carolina A&T & it's been a humbling experience. My lessons I've learned so far inspired me to give some tips for college students & incoming freshman that can help ease y'all minds just a little bit!

5.
GET A MENTOR! Without my mentor, I would have probably dropped out... IN ALL HONESTY. She helped me out so much, y'all! I will forever be grateful for her!
4.
PROCRASTINATE ON BUYING BOOKS! I SPENT AT LEAST $500 OUT OF POCKET BUYING BOOKS I DONT EVEN USE. DONT BE ME. Also, check online to see if the book is available anywhere else for a cheaper price.
3.
FULLY UTILIZE YOUR SUMMERS. For incoming freshman this can be applying for scholarships, working, pre-college, or just doing anything that benefits your future and self value. For college students this can be interning, taking that extra class you dropped in october, studying abroad, and also doing anything that enhances your self value.
2.
ACCEPT FAILURE. Failure is a lesson. It teaches you where you need to be, and what you need to give the next go round. "FEAR HAS NO PLACE IN YOUR SUCCESS EQUATION!"
1.
NEVER STOP APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS. I feel like this one is self explanatory. Someone is always giving away free money; However, it is your job to go out and get it.

I really hope this was helpful, and gives you guys that little extra push to finish the semester strong! Thanks for tuning in & see ya later 💘
